BREATHE IN FULL HARMONY AND RELAX...
Relaxation, by definition, is “attaining an increased state of calmness”.
It’s a commonly used word nowadays and with different people it evokes different associations.
Most of the people upon hearing it would imagine doing a favorite activity such as reading a nice book, exercising, socializing, watching TV, etc, but it is much more than that.
Real relaxation is a period of time during which one is mindful and alert, but yet one’s muscles are relaxed and during which one’s body and mind reconnect and harmonize.
This kind of relaxation not only effectively restores energy and boosts mood and performance levels but can also have a profound positive impact on one’s personal well-being.

Why do we need our Mind and Body
to be in Harmony?
There is a strong connection between our physical and psychological well-being. Stress and anxiety has proven links with psychosomatic diseases.
Acting in the opposite sense of stress, relaxation strengthens the immune system and prevents us from diseases directly linked to stress as well as helps us reserve our energy capital and health.
Through relaxation and breathing we are able to reach a calm and serene state of mind and body where we are able to hear the messages of our bodies and understand their needs better. Restoring and strengthening this link help us liberate our minds from worries and our bodies from diseases. Thus we start respecting ourselves more and enjoying life better.

How is Real Relaxation achieved ?
Various techniques are used. Some of the methods are performed alone; some require the help of another person (often a professional); some involve movement, some focus on stillness; while other methods involve different elements.
From experience I know that learning them is not always as easy as it sounds and it’s good to be guided through the learning process.
As a trained professional myself I would feel joy to help you master techniques from a set called RPC (Relaxologie Psycho-Corporelle) - “Mind-and-Body Harmonizing Relaxation”.
This includes
Breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, visualisations, guided meditation, Autogenic training, which are all techniques where sophrology, yoga, hypnoses and other proven and respected methods intersect.
Once learned and practiced regularly these methods offer a lot of health benefits such as increased self-confidence, concentration and become a valuable tool for preventing one from stress and anxiety related diseases, eating disorders, sleeping problems, phobias; for helping with pregnancy, and reducing pain.
Relaxation is an important part of taking good care of yourself. It is not only a way to manage stress and cure related diseases but it’s also a perfect way to rest, spend time enjoying yourself, stay healthy and content with life!
